Under the requirements of Part F of the Building Regulations 2010, ventilation systems must be commissioned by a qualified Domestic Ventilation Installer and the completed and subsequent forms submitted to Building Control Body within 5 days of commissioning taking place.
BPEC training was introduced to provide Electricians, Plumbers, Ventilation Engineers and Heating Engineers with this qualification, the course is also recognised by CPS (Competent Person Schemes).
So we are confident our products are installed, commissioned, tested and inspected correctly we are offering this course for only £100+VAT at our training facility in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Prior to the course, you will be provided with a course manual to help you familiarise yourself with the subject.
The course is made up of four modules taking place over two days with an examination at the end:
-Module 1: Domestic ventilation in context
-Module 2: Airflow requirements and calculations
-Module 3: Health and safety
-Module 4: Installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of information
-Examination (multiple choice)
To attend, candidates must hold or be completing an NVQ level in plumbing, electrical engineering or heating, or have a number of years’ experience in this field.
All attendees will receive a full BPEC training manual and materials, as well as the qualification and vehicle sticker on completion.
Refreshments and lunch are included in the £100(+VAT) fee.

CPD (Continuing Professional Development) refers to the process of tracking and documenting skills, knowledge and experience that is gained during employment. These courses are open to professionals from many backgrounds eg Managers, Architects, Doctors, Nurses and Occupational Therapists etc. A basic knowledge of the ventilaton industry is beneficial.
